About

SouLfia Perez is a powerhouse Pop-Soul vocalist born into a legendary musical lineage. The granddaughter of the King of Rock & Soul, Solomon Burke, SouLfia was raised in a Dominican-American family steeped in music, performance, and cultural legacy. From an early age, the stage was home.

At just 17, SouLfia became a professional touring artist, traveling the world alongside her grandfather and absorbing the rhythm, discipline, and soul of live performance. Her stage name, SouLfia, was born as her artistry matured—shaped by unforgettable moments singing background vocals for icons such as Aretha Franklin and Joss Stone, and opening for Alicia Keys in Morocco, Africa.

Blending classic soul with modern pop, SouLfia has worked with legendary producers from Motown Records, including Holland-Dozier-Holland, helping craft a fresh, lasting Pop-Soul sound that bridges generations.

Beyond the recording studio, SouLfia’s artistry shines on stage. She has appeared on Broadway as La Cienega, served as lead vocalist in Dreamgirls under director Otis Sallid, and portrayed Diana Ross in Motown’s hit stage production Showgirls. Her performances are marked by commanding vocals, emotional depth, and undeniable star presence.

A singer, songwriter, and storyteller, SouLfia is also the author of Bunsology Body, a personal book on life, health, and wellness. A certified dietitian and fitness trainer with a degree in Communications, she is as passionate about empowering the body and spirit as she is about music.

More than a power vocalist, SouLfia Perez is a positive force and guiding light for the future of music. Her grace, radiant smile, and soulful presence leave every room brighter—and every audience transformed.
